Here are your exterior painting options:

Full service - We will pressure wash your home, then scrape, sand, caulk and prime any bare wood. If you have damaged siding, trim or corner molding we can replace them for you. We will apply two coats of a top of the line siding paint product such as Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore to your house's siding by brush.  We will apply two coats of trim paint to all of your trim, shutters and doors by brush. We will be happy to help you with color selection and can provide color decks for your perusal. We guarantee a full service paint job for 8 years.

Siding only - If your trim is in good shape we are happy to paint only your siding. We will still pressure wash and prep as we do for a full service job and we prefer to use quality paint. Cutting corners on the cost of paint does not usually pay off in the end. That being said, will will follow your preferences. 

Trim only - If your siding is in good shape we can paint just the trim. Some people like to do the trim one year and the siding the next to spread out the cost. We will be happy to accommodate this option. If you are selling your home and just want to spruce it up a bit, painting the trim is  an inexpensive way to do this. You  always get the money you invest in the painting back in the sale of your home.

Airless Sprayer - You can save money by having the paint applied to your siding by airless sprayer rather than brush. Spraying the siding actually uses more paint and coverage is thorough and complete. We back brush any areas that do not receive adequate coverage. When we spray paint a house the results are very different than you will find in new construction.  The quality of paint and the method of application provides excellent coverage. Spraying will save you money as it is less labor intensive. Again, we guarantee our work.

Durham Painting Company will pressure wash and treat your deck. Proper deck maintenance will keep your deck looking great for many years. Removing dirt and mildew through pressure washing and applying a quality deck treatment will prevent a new deck from checking and fading and can bring an old deck back to life. Depending on sun and weather exposure, a deck should be treated yearly.

Durham Painting Company will always pressure wash your house prior to painting unless you have already had it done. It is important to have a clean surface to insure proper paint adhesion. When paint is applied over dirt or mildew the paint does not adhere properly and will peel.

Pressure washing alone is an option. If you don't need your house painted but want the mildew and dirt removed, don't hesitate to give us a call. We pressure wash driveways, sidewalks and fences as well.
